The Group's procurement missions are carried out in their own right by the Global Procurement & Supply chain (GPS), or through BuyIn, the joint venture created equally by Orange and Deutsche Telekom.

With over €8 billion spent in France in 2016 (i.e. 51% of the Group's expenditure), Orange must lead its supplier relationships.

We rely on transparent relationships as well as a high level of responsiveness with our suppliers. Each participant has a specific buyer, who is an expert in their purchasing field, as a contact point.

Our buyers are the interface between the supplier and the purchasing advisor. They are both the guarantors of sourcing suppliers and purchase prices, while respecting the Group's procurement strategy.

BuyIn: our joint venture with Deutsche Telekom

In October 2011, the approval of the competition authorities concerned enabled the start of activities of "BuyIn", the joint venture that brings together Deutsche Telekom and Orange in the area of procurement.
This joint venture is based in Brussels, with operational units in Issy-les-Moulineaux and Bonn. Volker Pyrtek is its Managing Director.
 

The pooling of the two entities' procurement activities concerns the customer device (terminals, mobile communication networks), fixed network equipment, service platform and IT fields.
Suppliers thus benefit from the standardization of equipment used by European operators.
The aim of BuyIn is to improve competitiveness in the procurement area, to generate sustainable economies of scale and thus cost reductions for our customers.
